Getting rid of Kaitlyn's clothing means we need to buy NEW clothing...for shame! LOVE the fall season clothing!

The mail and other found items ALWAYS seems to pile up at this table over the weekend.

More manual into direct light light-metering. Anyhooo....more fall decor.

Went to a Native American Pow-Wow for the Brownie troop in Mt. Juliet today. The girls were enthralled at the little girls participating in the dance section.

More full manual experimentation. Some of my fall decor.

Practicing with some manual light metering today amidst my MASS of free time, lol! Trying to make the move to go all manual. I think it might be easier than I thought. Something just clicked today. Anyhoo...here's a set of note-cards (one of six) I made for the consignment sale.

Zachary's class had a field trip to the Bellmeade Mansion. It's the first time in 3 field trips there that I've enjoyed myself. Normally it's ALMOST right up there with a field trip to the zoo. HOWEVER; this time was so much better that I actually HEARD the tour guide AND got a chance to snap pictures and read information. Definitely made me curious to go back and get a better take on it, whereas the other 2 trips made me never want to go back, lol!

What a difference a private school makes!

An overflowing scrapbook stash area in the garage leads to an OVERWHELMING MESS OF MASSES OF SCRAPBOOK STUFF when going through it for consignment sale. ICK. I think I'd rather throw it all away!

A recommended read for all married women out there...

Kaitlyn dressed for church this morning...however; picture isn't that great because due to the fact we were rushing to get out the door to get kid's breakfast (since I don't have milk in the house) I forgot to reset the white balance AND the ISO on the camera after last night's dark room performances. UGH. OH, well...photo actions and photoshop saved it a bit at least.

Tonight was Jr. Eagle night at the football game. The kids got to 'usher' in the football team and loved every minute of it. It was also B's first time playing at a game (trumpet, that is) and of course, the only picture I got of him is blurry from him dodging the camera! UGH!

I absolutely LOVE this kit from CK this month. I usually glance over there occassionally and see if it's one I'll use, but as soon as I saw it this month, I knew it would get much use from me. This kit has TONSSSSS of stuff in it and I know it'll be supplying MANY accents for MANY layouts and cards! Was glad when I saw it in person that I'd bought it.

The 2nd of the gecko prize toys bit the dust today...doesn't he just look dead? I had to just LAUGH when I looked over from my office and saw it laying like this on the floor with stuffing coming out everywhere around it! OLIVIA....you just can't leave stuffed animals around her.

Circles circles circles...everywhere.
Cut out circles out of foamcore insulation sheathing today for sign and props for the Celebrate the Child event at school this weekend. Was so glad to have help tonight to get it all done. WOOHOO!

A GORGEOUS day outside at the Warner's farm for the youth retreat...gorgeous...peaceful...serene....and YES, those were adjectives to describe this youth retreat. Good.

Doesn't a view like this make you look at life from God's perspective?

"And GOd saw that it was good..."

Another stuff toy bites the dust...sad day, lol!

Kaitlyn didn't want to get rid of her bows when we went through them the other day. However, even though she agreed that she would wear them and wanted to, she just couldn't do it today. She brought them down, let me put them in her hair, looked in the mirror, and immediately took them out. I guess our bow days are officially over unless I can convince her otherwise!

Another card creation, but instead of taking picture on clean desk, I took it on my DIRTY FILTHY cutting mat. Sorry, lol!

Having a friend over for the afternoon is so much fun. At least it is for Zachary, huh? The yelling as they play the Wii over my head...not so much.

fragrant and frivilous fresh fall flowers feel (need to say look, but then it wouldn't be a tongue twister, huh?) fabulous.

New curtains (finally) and new fall pillows that I think I'll be able to easily transition into Christmas with a simple change.

I got this lovely little storage thingie for my desk at Hobby Lobby the other day for only $10.00. A great deal for something to house a few odds and ends that are ALWAYS on my desk.

Putting fall decor out...I just love the little changes of color that signify a new season. This is one of my favorite seasons and I never can seem to wait to get the decorations out.

Zachary loves getting Olivia all 'riled' up and in attack mode. IN FACT, now that I think about it, everyone in this house does. She's just hilarious when she does this...

This needs to be something that I strive to accomplish more often...
