Baking Thomas' birthday carrot cake...yummy.

This is my table (not the chairs, though, because the boys broke those a few years ago.) that I remember sitting and reading and coloring for hours on end. I love having Kaitlyn's books and dolls sitting there waiting for her to join them.

I love Brandon's room when it's clean. It's the room you can see into when you get to the top of the stairs, so it simply makes me happy to walk upstairs and see it completely clean.

I love that Kaitlyn still believes...although I do 'forget' a bit since I've been doing this for awhile.

I love the colors in Kaitlyn's room...perfect combinations of turquoise, pink, and green...AND it's so pretty when it's clean!

One of my favorite rooms in my home. I waited years to get a complete bedroom set and looked at this particular one for a few. I was so happy when Thomas told me to go get it. And, yes, I knwo my pillows aren't perfectly in the center. It bothers me in this picture, but I honestly just make the bed in the mornings and don't inspect the 'center'ness of it all, lol!

ugly hands - but beautiful ring that my hubby got me for our 15th anniversary. I guess you could say it was our 'golden' anniversary since it was like Zachary's 8th GOLDEN birthday. Our anniversary is on the 15th of November and we've been married 15 years - so that's GOLDEN, according to Zachary.

When I'm in my office - this is where Olivia can ALWAYS be found...she's my shadow, for certain:

Sweet little notecards that I made to have on hand to send to people as needed. You write on the back, stamp a sentiment or write a greeting on the front, and circle the sentiment on the back as well.

Nothing says lovin' on MLK day than Pillsbury (and Reese's) from the oven!

Olivia's collections continue to amass.

The insides of one of Olivia's toys that is underneath my dining room table. I keep passing it by instead of picking it up and decided that since I've passed it for several days now, I might as well take a picture of it for the 366.

Christmas outside is still waiting to be put up by someone I know. I took everything down - just needs a home, babe!

Cleaning out old recipes - compiling new ones in new cookbooks - updating magazine stash...all while having 10+ workers in my house doing 10 month inspection repairs! Wasn't expecting repairs or that many visitors today! Yikes - SHOULD have taken daily picture of the kids closets after shoving all their belongings that were on the floors into the closets this morning. Let's just say - BAD - as in WORSE EVER!

Olivia doing what she does best - sleeping on the pillows of my bed. She knows when I'm making the bed and will wait to jump onto the pillows until right after the last one is put on...spoiled rotten.

I've been enjoying scrapbooking in the evenings with Thomas not here. So, Kaitlyn, of course, has to be glued to my side every moment she's at home. (Can you tell it's been a long week?)...

Has to be occupied. Here's her "occupation" - Stamper and coloring extraordinaire!:

Evidence - I find evidence of Kaitlyn and Zachary and Brandon's existence everywhere I go. Kaitlyn mostly, though. This was the 3rd pair of shoes just laying around as well as her night clothes, pulled off socks, dirty clothes in front of my shower, backpack on the stairs, library books in my office...the list goes on when you add the boys in there. If I recall correctly, I THINK that my dad used to say you could follow the trail and know exactly where I was at all times. Hmmm....the apples don't fall far. All I can hope for is change...after all, I changed!

A pile of scrapbook stuff on my desk means I'm actually scrapbooking. I've done about 7 layouts this week with a few updates for Kaitlyn to take to show & tell today at school. She wanted to take an album as well as this issue of CK.

Put away Christmas decor - getting old decor up with a few new things added in.

Photo 3

LOVE after Christmas sales - but my favorite part is opening my Christmas boxes the next year and finding all the little things I purchased to help out on expenses. LOVED having rolls of ribbon to use on presents this year - and did it again for next year!

SNOW - on our 26 degree day. Lots of little snow flurries to please the kiddos

I planned to start this on the first day of 08, but as usual, forgot. Lisa Russo's blog reminded me that I had wanted to do this. I'll be posting several today to catch up...So, here we go:
